Starting a band in a rural town is tough – it means regularly making a multi-hour trek to the nearest major city, just to play a show and spread the word about what you’re doing. So our respect goes out to Fresh Nelson from the city of Armidale, in northern New South Wales.

The band have just announced an extensive 8-date tour of the premier state, which run through-out early April. But what’s a tour without friends to enjoy it with? So joining the line-up will be Hourglass from Wollongong, Adelaide’s Ambleside, and Pasha Bulka from the steel city of Newcastle. Together, they’ll be bringing chaos to cities and towns through-out New South Wales.

Titled ‘The Lanterns Tour‘, it’s been organised by a handful of different booking agents/management groups – Failsafe Collective, Destruct Agency, and Spit The Dummy Management.

Fresh Nelson’s debut release, ‘Waver‘, is currently available on a name-your-price basis from their Bandcamp Page, alongside physical copies. But don’t leave it there, get up to speed with the entire tour roster by checking out Ambleside’s Bandcamp, the Hourglass Bandcamp, and Pasha Bulka’s Bandcamp.

Don’t miss it if they come to town! You’ll kick yourself:
