Another Labour Day weekend means another ‘Push Over’ festival. This year we got the chance to head out to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne for the 21st birthday of the event.

The lineup was stacked with loads of amazing local bands that we wanted to go check out so we could share the live action with you. We were based at the red stage for most of the day this year cause we just couldn’t resist the awesome line up that was taking place.

First up we got to check out THE SWEET APES and HAND OF MERCY before IN HEARTS WAKE got involved in the action. THY ART IS MURDER then took to the stage and had people crowd surfing from trees. Then the mighty NORTHLANE and DREAM ON DREAMER finished off the day at the red stage with continuous circle pits and solid live sets. Finally it was time for the headline act for the day, THE AMITY AFFLICTION. A huge crowd flocked inside the music bowl to watch the boys tear up the sideways ‘stage on a stage’ with an eager crowd singing along to every word.

Luckily we got a shitload of the days action on film so that we could put it together for you to check out and you may even see yourself losing your mind in the dusty pit.

If you can spot yourself in the video, send us an email to with a screenshot of yourself, along with a link to your Facebook profile to verify that it’s you, and we will send you out a FREE Chucking a Mosh sticker!!
