To celebrate the release of their first album ‘Animal VS Man’, Brisbane’s ARMY OF CHAMPIONS are meeting up with friends and playing some shows outside of their hometown in September.

First up, they are heading to Sydney for the first time since Blood, Sweat & Beers for a quicky with good pals FIREARMS (who will be semi kind of launching their 10” which won’t be available physically yet but you can get a download card) at the Roxbury Hotel on Saturday, September 1st. They’ll be joined by Life + Limb and Epics

Next stop for Army Of Champions is Melbourne with an All Ages show at The Place in Preston with Ride The Tiger, Kill The Matador and Firearms September 7th and then an 18+ show at The Gaso September 8th with Daybreak, Easy Company (Sydney), Ride The Tiger and Foxtrot.

‘Animal Versus Man’ was released through Arrest Records Australia in June. You can pick it up on vinyl or grab it digitally at

Firearms – We Are… is available for vinyl preorder with instant download at

Nick van Breda (ex Lights Out, Staying At Home)

With the Nick’s latest song ‘Think About’ garnering super reviews and spins on the ol’ youth network Triple J he’s now very stoked to have scored a show playing with Jonah Matranga (Far, onelinedrawing) on September 6th at The Sando. Think About is available on iTunes if you want to donate to the cause or for free via his Unearthed page.
