We have just clicked over in to June, and on the one year anniversary of Chucking a Mosh  we are very proud to announce that our Band of The Month will be Resist The Thought.

While they have been around for a few years now, the last 12 months has seen Resist The Thought go from an good young band and develop themselves into one of the must see metal bands in the country. After touring at home with All Shall Perish the guys headed to the USA to record an album with Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying and the final product is mind blowing! With relentless touring and a huge fan base, we are very proud to have Resist The Thought as our Band of The Month for June.

Since 2007, Sydney’s Resist The Thought have been carefully engraving their name into the Australian metal scene. Thanks to a relentless touring ethos which found them forever on the road and sharing stages with the likes of Suicide Silence, The Acacia Strain and All Shall Perish, Resist The Thought garnered enough momentum to propel themselves overseas to Lambesis Studios in Escondido, CA to work with reputed producer Dan Castleman (As I Lay Dying, Impending Doom) on their debut album, Sovereignty. The album boasts a collection of nine driving metal anthems; a cacophony of extreme riffing, rapid fire drumming and a relentless vocal attack. The full album and exclusive bonus DVD are were released on May 18th 2012 through Skull and Bones Records/Shock Entertainment.
