Earlier this year Chucking a Mosh began to sponsor some very talent young athletes who are dominating their respecive sports and are big supporters of Australian music. With Both Sam Reed (BMX) and Chris Halesworth (Sprintcar Racing) both in action at the moment, we wanted to let our fans know how the guys have been going.
It has been 5 months since i have raced after breaking my collar bone and it felt great to be back on the bike. I was put up from under sixteens into the pro class, A men. I was pretty nervous. I raced up at Shepparton in the Central GV Classic. In the first race I came fourth and I was surprised that I did so well, I was so pumped and ready for the next race. In the next race I got sixth. The last race I came fifth. I just missed out on the semi finals by one place, which I was very happy with because there were thirty or so riders in my class. Overall a great weekend racing.
Chris has just wrapped up yet another season with the final round of racing just being completed. After consistently making the feature races in his class, this has been another big year for Chris, and he is looking to take things even further next season.
